Jimmy Cheung – Managing Director
Jimmy, a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, has more than 20 years’ experience in auditing, taxation and accounting professionals services for companies listed in HK and the USA. In 1975, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (now PwC), and in 1986 left PricewaterhouseCoopers, established his own accounting firm, and in 2006 obtained an accreditation from SEC of the United States. In 2010, he joined the world's eighth largest network of Accountants Hong Kong member firm, Baker Tilly Hong Kong, and is responsible for the United States public company audits. Jimmy returned to his practice and extends the firm’s services to Hong Kong IPO consultancy and auditing service by setting up JCH CPA Limited in 2012.
Jimmy graduated in 1975 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic (now Hong Kong Polytechnic University), and in 1978 became member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK. Mr. Cheung is now a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered Tax Advisor of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.
Donny Yen - Principal
Donny joined Jimmy C H Cheung & Co in 1995 as Audit Supervisor and was promoted to Principal in 2009.Before joining the Company, he worked for several local audit firms for about fifteen years. He has extensive experience in auditing and has strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements.
He is now in charging a portfolio of local SMEs clients, providing them with advisory services upon technical accounting, tax and audit matters. He has considerable experience in handling tax reviews, investigation and due diligent.
In additions, he monitors the Company’s compliance with ethical and quality control standards and delivers technical tranining.
Jason Leo – Consultant
Jason joined Jimmy C H Cheung & Co. as Principal from 2000 to 2010 to work largely on audits of US public companies. Jason previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Singapore office where he joined in 1969. He was transferred to PricewaterhouseCoopers Sydney office the following year where he spent 9 years. He qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1979. In 1980, Jason was transferred to PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong where he served as Manager in charge of their Macau office from 1983 to 1987.
Prior to joining Jimmy C H Cheung & Co., Jason worked as General Manager for a petroleum company. Jason currently acts as consultant to the Firm.
Carrie Chan – Senior Manager
Carrie joined JCH CPA Limited in 2013 as manager of audit and assurance division with major responsibility in handling IPO audits listing at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and providing accounting related services to US listed companies. She is now senior manager of the firm and also responsible for overseeing the firm’s administrative matters.
Carrie previously joined Jimmy C H Cheung & Co in 2002 and Baker Tilly Hong Kong Limited in 2010 as audit manager and has built up extensive experience in auditing services. She has undertaken in the audit of private and public companies in Hong Kong and US, including clients from manufacturing, trading, logistic, advertising and educational services, telecommunications services, etc and has knowledge and experience with SEC financial reporting requirements
